well they the sidepipes i've heard. it wont be quite as hot, or they did something so that you wont end up with your leg resting near the pipes. i cant remember for sure, but i wouldnt care :P
when i went to Skip Barber to drive a Viper, one of the instructors had what he called a Viper Tan, 2 nice burn marks on the back of his leg from the sidepipes
