Well I have been driving for eight years now and in that time I only recieved one ticket [inproper lane change]. Does being single or married affect an insurance rate?

As far as license points/insurance points, I don't know how many I have. All I know is that I have a decent driving record and no accidents. I don't like to make any claims on my insurance unless I have to because I worry about the rate increasing.

Maybe it's better to find a local insurance provider as compared to a big name insurance provider. Geico/Progressive/AIG.

-I called an insurance company (Liberty Mutual) today, they refused to give me a quote because I had one ticket in the last five years.
