I just had my competant muffler shop extend my exhaust up to my header (now my downpipe, but they made me a whole new exhaust for that).

Sorry you don't have anyone around that can do that for ya man. I know what it's like to be up crap creek trying to get my exhaust to meet up.

If you got the flanges and pipe and measured what you needed, I don't see why even an incompetant wouldn't be able to put 2 flanges on a piece of pipe... :dunno:
