Mis-fire can be caused by any of the following:
- Fouled Spark Plugs
- Bad Spark Plug Wires
- Worn Distributor Cap and Rotor
- Bad Ignitor
- Bad CYL Sensor
Probably the most overlooked cause is the distributor cap and rotor though.
