aight, well i took the missing link off, it didnt do anything. so now, we're thinking its the fuel. there's an aem fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator, and we have no idea what it's set at. looking at the plugs, it looks as if the car is running really rich. so here's my questions:
1) can the car running too rich cause the problems i've described (idle at a grand, drop to about 200, then die)?
2) we bought a fuel pressure gauge to monitor the pressure, can we monitor and change while the car is running, or do we have to do it once, shut the car off, change it, turn the car back on, then monitor it again?
3) is the '92 civic stock fuel pump sufficient for a N/A motor? in all the swap articles that i have read about the b18a/b, i've never heard of problems with the stock fuel pump. can anyone confirm?
4) how exactly does the fuel pressure regulator work? the nut on top adjusts the pressure, correct? even the most basic info on this is appreciated cuz i've never dealt with one before.
5) anyone know how much fuel pressure i should be pumping so that i can adjust accordingly?
thanks a lot!!!
