Yeah, a hairdryer will work fine coupled with a razorblade.

My friend had the same thing happen to his tint.

Which is why if you decide to get tint again, make sure it gets done at a place that guarantees bubble-free and purple-free tint. I got mine done on my civic for 160 dollars at %35; had a lifetime guarantee to replace/remove if it ever gets purple/bubbled/cracked. Lasted 2 years fine, until the crash, and even then, held all the glass together

Yes, hairdryer and razor work wih some goo-be-gone for the glue-like gunk left on afterwards.
