I'd get the whole motor if I were you. D15 internals are crap compared to D16 internals. Doing the mini-me swap is 4x as difficult as swapping a motor. It will also cost you less, provided that you have hook-ups like an uncle with a junkyard. The end result is better, too.
You can't re-use a head gasket, and the timing headaches.... easier to just do this stuff out of the car. If you have a complete donor car, there's no reason to mini-me.
For a second, I thought you were talking about the Eclipse motor, and I thought that you pushed your Eclipse love a little too far trying to recommend putting a 4G63 into a Civic :rofl:
But yes, I agree, get the whole D16 motor. It will be easier to put in, and you will get more HP and a stronger overall motor. Then boost it
