I think you'll probably have to re-install your OS when you change motherboards. And I don't think you can use the Dell CD again because it can only be installed on a Dell machine. I could be all wrong, though.

the OS reinstallation is not necessarily true. try it first without doing so, every time i switch motherboards, all i have to do is install the drivers for the new board.
