It generally means someone focused on visual modifications of the stupid/ugly variety (altezza lights, Z3 fenders, uber-body kits, aluminum spoilers, stickers, etc) who has no real knowledge. They also tend to deny that their car is ass slow.

Those terms are too generally riced out. So if something become too play out, then it means that it's rice? So if many people keep saying rice this rice that, then would it mean they themselves = rice too?
About Rice = Show only, some people chose to go visual over performance wise. Yet that person has great knowledge bout cars including performance but doesn't feel the need for it. So that person = rice?
What if someone with no knowledge of whatever but had plenty of money and want to make their ride the best. At the end, the car came out to be look really good and has great performance. Then is that person rice or not?
I admit that there are times we see people "fix up" their cars and yet they look hideous and uglier than the original. Only then the term rice is "suitable". But please, DO NOT GENERALIZE TERMS.
To those that do no know what rice mean, and by generalize them, you just showed them the wrong way to view people.
