the apexi site says it's state 50 legal which the original was not, or least they made no claim it was.

the tip is now rolled at the end instead of being just cut. the new tip is similar to RSR style which some may like better. both look nice, the newer tip looks more stock like which some may like.

supposedly it makes more low-mid range torque now

basically if you need a 50 state legal tag get the ws II otherwise decide based on the tip style.
