There are a lot of good tires on the market... a very sticky tire for wet/dry traction is Falken Azenis. They only last 10,000-15,000 miles from what I hear though. I have had Nitto 470's before and I personally like them... they are pretty sticky and last 30,000 miles if you are religious about getting them rotated.
