We won't see any sort of speed limiting technology in this country in the current century. This country is run on money, and the revenue loss alone from no more speeding tickets would cause local governments to go bankrupt. Add to that the fact that something like this would get very few supporters if not for the fact that it severely cuts down on civil liberties.
