i used engine block enamel, available from autobarn

its rated to 1200* peak and it is ceramic based.
they also have high temp clearcoat

ive used it with no issues on calipers, tranny covers, oil pan, engine block

just be careful with brake cleaner around the painted calipers.

brake cleaner will take the paint off no problem, even if the paint has been baked on.
