Silverstars will outperform ANY aftermarket bulb out there. Your friend is running 80w bulbs...well it might be fine NOW, but it won't be long before the wiring starts to melt. Silverstars are rated at the factory recommended wattage, so they won't damage anything, and the light output is pretty good. The APC bulbs (or any other aftermarket bulb) has a dark blue coating on the glass...so to see ANYTHING, you pretty much have to buy high wattage bulbs. Just get the silverstars, you won't be disappointed.
:stupid: Yeah get your self some Sylvania Silverstars and do the 9005-9006 conversion...search the board for how to do it and the results. I got a friend who's got a '04 coupe and we just did that for her car and she absolutely loves it! It's the best thing besides HIDs. DON'T get those crappy aftermarket bulbs, like APC, etc!!! The Silverstars ARE street legal and perform to factory specs.
