bulb question re:04 accord
hey everyone. i have an '04 accord and i wanna get whiter HID looking bulbs. I cant afford HID right now so I will settle for bulbs in the meantime.I am new to this. I have seen previous posts and it seems alot of people here like the silverstars. What I am wondering is does more wattage = brighter bulb or is that just in theory?I mean I have a friend who has APC super white plasma bulbs that are 12v 80w..and they seem to be fine on his '95 accord. The silverstars are rated at like 12v 61 watt i think..So will the silverstar outperform the APC eventhough the APC has more wattage? And does the increased wattage affect the headlight housing in anyway?Like will the housing begin to melt after long periods of heavy light exposure? I know that on my friends accord he put hyperwhites in his front bumper lights and wired them to be constant and eventually after a few weeks the housing starting melting..maybe it was because the lights the housing was designed for was for blinking only??I dont know i am new to this. Also what generation is my '04 accord considered and has anyone here had any trouble installing the new bulbs because I hear that you have to take the whole inner fender cover off??
thanks for all the help in advance....
