well of course it would be feasible, but I don't think mazda would release a production car with such a high power/weight ratio.
Think about this: The FD weighed ~2890 lbs. Now, The STi weighs in at approximately ~3086 lbs, and as we all know it has 300 hp.
With the FD being already almost 200 lbs lighter than the STi, imagine taking off
another 200 lbs...with 300 hp.
A car that is ~2690 lbs with 300 hp would most definently NOT be released...at least not in the US.
