Now how the heck do I remove the front door panels? The bottom half or so has the little white snap off things, I already broke a peice of plastic off of the inner side where it hinges.. Any one know how I'm supposed to get this off?
Again it's a 2001 Civic LX. Thanks!
Mine's a 2004 2-door, but hopefully they're similar. Within the inside door lever is a rectangular pop-out panel. Behind that are two screws. Remove the screws, which allows the door lever to come loose and flop around. Snap a plastic clip loose on the back side to remove it entirely.
In the middle of the armrest there's a recess where you grip the door to close it. At the bottom of that recess is a tiny pop-off cover. Behind that cover is a screw. Remove the screw. Then pry around the edges of the upper, forward section of the armrest to pop it off. If you have electric windows, disconnect the harness from the switch.
Now you'll find two large screws. Remove them.
Remove the "sail panel" just inboard of the side view mirrors. It just pops off.
Then simply pry the entire lower portion of the door panel back with a putty knife or special door panel tool. Those little white snaps must pop loose. There is one white snap near where the door lever was.
Once unsnapped so the panel is swinging loose at the bottom end, it is simply lifted off the window ledge.
