I have a factory service manual for a 96 integra here is what it says. Unplug the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) 2pin connector if the idle drops or the engine stalls adjust the base idle speed if not replace the IAC valve. There are several other things to check TPS sensor correct output ECT correct output Throttle body clear and not clogged intake air hose loose and leaking if you have an automatic the fast idle thermo valve malfunction. Correct ignition timing vacuum leak. All of these things effect your idle. To adjust the base idle speed run you car up to operating temperature and then turn off your car. Disconnect your IAC valve and then start your car again and rev it up a little bit and then slowly let off until it stabilizes. Then adjust your idle speed screw if necessary by turning your idle adjusting screw with the IAC unplugged you should have a 480 +or- 50RPM. Then turn off the ignition and reconnect your IAC valve and remove the backup fuse in the under hood fuse relay box to clear the code it should be a 7.5 amp fuse and then start the car the idle should be 750 + or - 50RPM. Hope this helps.
