it's my dvd-rom drive, at least 1x a week it has problems reading a disc, and windows fix for bad discs is changing the ide setting from DMA to PIO after 3 retry's. Don't change it to PIO tell me to get a new disc... Then I have to go into control panel>system>device manager>IDE> uninstall secondary ide>restart>pray it re-installs and is set to DMA2
