thanks for your suggestion. i plan on doing it asap, but i've already replaced the idle air control valve and the fast valve on it (close to the throttle body) and it did not cure it. the idle air control valve that we replaced came from a junk yard car, exact same model and year, but it could be that that one was bad at the same time. any other suggestions?
