With that size I wouldn't think you'd have any comfort compromise. The wider contact patch and shorter sidewall should help increase grip and reduce bodyroll. You still have plenty of comfort in that sidewall...not even an issue imo. I daily drive 225/40/18s and it's fine. Some of the 5th genners even do 215/35/18.
