idling problem....really need your help, guys!!!
hi,
i have a 91 prelude 2.0 si. i recently replaced the intake manifold gasket on my car and it PARTIALLY cured an idling problem. my car WAS idling from 1000 to 2000 rpms no matter what the circumstance. i replaced the intake manifold gasket and now the idling problem still exists, though not so bad. it will idle 1000 to 2000 rpms while the car is warming up and eventually goes away when i drive it for a while. since it's winter, it occurs all the time while the car warms up. when it was warmer outside it would idle completely normal (700 rpms).
is it something with the air intake? or could it be a sensor that is making it read too lean/rich for the air/fuel mixture?
thanks
