:werd: Any of these people bashing Hyundais have not ever had one...I guarantee it. If you have looked at the product that Hyundai is putting out in the last 4 years or so, they are really good. Ever since they've began offering the 100k waranty, the product that they've put out is excellent. My sister has a '99 Elantra, and has NEVER had a problem with it. She's just had to replace the brakes/tires/etc. Thats pretty impressive considering the car is now 5 years old. If any of you guys drove my Dad's XG350, I promise you that you would be impressed, especially considering what it costs. The early Hyundai's (Excels/etc.) were crap...they were cheap, poorly made pieces of crap. Back in '99 when my sister go the Elantra, I was as sceptical as all of you are. However, honestly, 5 years later, I can say that I am very impressed with the car. Its reliabilty is just as good as a Honda.
