Back in the day, I had a 386/25. Even after I got Windows 3.1 I still used DOS most of the time. Windows used up too much system memory to run the games I wanted. (The old Bill Gates -- "who could ever need more than 640k system memory?")
I've tried to get DOS to run on my current XP system so that I can run some old-school games, but haven't been able to get it to work.
I'm sure you can emulate them.
