The best way to troubleshoot network connectivity is command prompt. NSLOOKUP, NET STAT, IPCONFIG /ALL, /PURGEDNS, /RENEW, /RELEASE, /REGISTER DNS, NBTSTAT, etc ... its so quick and tells you everything you need to troubleshoot network connections.
