Yea they are tru chrome...lightweight though...they are thin but solid not plated...a lot of times thought my rims were done and they are good 2 go...same places where my friends have gotten there rims bent at...idunno...
Your wheels aren't "solid chrome", they are chrome plated aluminum. And strength is mainly dependant on design and/or thickness of the aluminum, not the fact that they are chromed.
