If you want a bolt-in swap, you need the D16Y8 and ECU from a '99-'00 Civic. I think you could get away with a '96-'98 D16Y8 if you used a '99+ ECU (there were small changes in the wiring but I think only on the ECU side, I don't know for sure).

For a D16Z6 swap, you will need an OBD IIb (make sure it's designed for '99+ Civic's) to OBD I ECU conversion harness and an OBD I ECU. I believe you could just reuse your stock mounts, but I've never tried.
