I had a 6G Sedan before and there was actually a recall sent out by Honda. The recall insturcted owners to have their car taken to the dealership to have those little hooks installed on the floor near the seat and those round grommets put in the floor mat so your mat would hook and not get jammed up under your pedals.
actually to be correct there was a total of 3 recalls on all civics model year 1996,
1. install post and "nonslipmat" driverside
2. install post and "nonslipmat" passengerside
3. and something to do with the glovebox (not exactly sure if it was the latch or hinge)
i think its kinda funny that these minor things are the only things that needed to be fixed, while you have fords that spontaniously combust while driving down the road :rofl:
