BTW have you heard of a 97' Accord vtec transmission bolting up to a 99' Accord vtec. My uncle has a transmission at his house for 97' Accord vtec.

Can someone tell me why we can't delete a previous post?
I assume we are talking 4-cylinger to 4-cylinder?
I'd have to imagine the autos are very-very simaliar, both are 4 speeds. The actual gear ratios may be different, but just a bit. But the VSS(Vehical speed sensor) should adjust tach and speedo accordingly. I'd crawl around under your car find all bolts and mounting holes with a light and take pics. Then compare this to the tranny your uncle has. If everything looks the same you should be good. Another key issue: are the trannies from the same ODB type cars? This could affect if the engine uses any tranny sensors.
