they do, but it also has to do with the fact that the engine moves forward and backward when it makes torque, or when its started. so there has to be some slack and honda just gave us like a full inch.
there are 2 locknuts, its the easiest thing ever to tighten, but you need some slack dont forget.

Thanks guys... i gotta another question... maybe this just qualifys for automatic ludes... but everytime i put it in neutral and rev it to like 5500/6000 the car wants to move forward like a foot. Is it the torque? Its not a problem for me i love it just curious to what it is.
