I would really rather not go into it but fine. Drifting in and of itself, I have no problem with. People go to a track, they run a course, they get a score. Great. The thing is in America it has become popular among a bunch of JDM whores that make "drift" cars that don't even compete in drifting competitions. They call their brakes buraki and other such nonsense even though they're white people in the midwest. And of course now it's been latched onto by the F&F crowd and the media and is going to be perverted into some kind of ricey APC crap before you can say "I live my life a quarter mile at a time." Witness how it's already in NFSU and is probably going to be featured on such quality programming as Hi Rev Tuners.
Basically instead of a bunch of stupid high school kids in trashy cars driving like idiots in a straight line, they are now going to drive like idiots and try to get their cars to slide all over the place which will increase the frequency of crashes.
...which will probably provoke outrage from parents and senior citizens alike, causing new and more stringent restrictions on modifications.
