I got a textile jacket to ride the beginning of spring and of course I'll be able to charge up for a leather later which is why I didn't get one. This is the Alpinestars NS-5 model. It's pretty comfortable and I liked how it felt in the jacket and in riding position on the bike :naughty:

Price: $225

For gloves I got the Alpinestars SP5. I tried on large and felt comfortable but wanted something less tight around the palm area as it was restricting bloodflow Also I tried other gloves with kevlar in each knuckle and fingers and I didn't like how it felt as though my fingers are always "straight" and won't allow me to flex them as well as these.

Price: $70

Helmets was quite a big ordeal because of my head size. The counter guy commented on how I might need a custom helmet made since I barely clear XXL lol ANyways I went with the KBC Racer 1which is one of their top of the line helmets. I tried on a lot of Arai's which I like a lot but for half the price at the time I could just get a decent helmet that won't break the bank just yet Maybe next riding season I'll go with an Arai. But the best thing about this helmet is not the gold checkerd pattern on the top of the helmet, but the blue! It matches perfectly with the bikes color scheme even though I got a black jacket and gloves ANyways I love this helmet for the price but I will be upgrading in the future :bigok:

Price: $350 dropped $150 so it was close to half price off

This caps my riding gear
