That is mocking crucified jesus. I cant believe you guys could hate on me for pointing out that its obviously offensive to some. Very simple. . .

[FYI: the offensive smiley that was removed, was a bloody crucified jesus smiley on a cross- for the newcomers to this thread]

Because they're both demeaning to one group or another. They're both offensive. If you won't accept that then you're ignorant. You haven't been here long, so I'll give you a hint: don't argue with me on this, I'll always win.

i try not to use those smilies often...in fact i think i may have only used the both of them a total of 5 times since i registered. and they were in reference to Kirk and Deek, mostly. i know that they must be offensive to certain people..and i was actually thinking about that the other day...
I don't find it offensive anymore I guess. I complained to a few people and they acknowledged there was a problem but didn't believe that it was big enough to justify deleting it. It's not going to change anything I guess. People would just write out the word "gay" instead" so why fight it? Although it is kind of like having HAN endorse this type of speach but hey, I don't have a say in it I guess. The issue was more like "You find THAT offensive yet THIS smilie has been on here forever and you don't think that could be offensive?" It wasn't meant to say "support gays" it was meant to say "support not offending people, if that's what you're so about."

Oh and don't worry, I know you're a nice person.
