I have some rules I like to follow. If it's just you and her, the you've gotta say something. If she's with 1 or more friends...she should say something. If you're with 1 or more friends...you should say something. If you're both with groups of friends....then its a toss-up. It works well for me.
Since when did it become such an ordeal to *talk* to someone? Starting a conversation with another human being really isn't that difficult.
