The harness that came w/ the radio will match up to the stock colors. For instance, you'll have green wires and red wires, they just might be different shades, but still do the same thing. So you saying that someone cut your factory harness? If you have any trouble installing your radio, give crutchfield a call and order a installation kit from them. They give detailed instructions about EVERYTHING and they will offer tech support too. Good Luck!
And for future reference, when posting in the audio section, it is not necessary to tell us what kind of engine you have.
