I DID MY CONVERSION!!

9006->9005 conversion with sylvania silver stars, $43.00 and some time and IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT

I can see now!! I hear that they dont work as well in the rain cuz the higher temp (whiter) light will reflect back more on rain, but no experience with rain yet so i dont know. But for clear night time driving so far they are GREAT

I used that how-to and used a file to get the tab down. and then heated the file up with a propane torch and slid it down inside the plug to melt off those tabs in there and then got a knife and scraped it out. fit really nice and work even better.
