I've worked retail before so I understand the desire to say, "**** it, let's go" but if you're not willing to work the hours you're supposed to, DON'T work there. Go find a job that lets you get off at 8:53pm or earlier.
About boycotting Autozone over this, I think that's going too far. Complain to their HQ, yes. Boycott, nah. But if you don't ever go back to that same store again, I wouldn't blame you. I'd be pissed too if I drove 20min to go somewhere that should be open just to have to turn right back around.
I wasnt serious about boycotting. I just needed a good verb to display my disapproval. HAHAHAH but thanks anyway.

I'd close early in that part of town too..And I'm sure that's not the only parts store in Tampa..relax, someone got over and you lost out in the process. Kharma will pay you back, somehow..you'll get over and get a break. Relax. That's what you get for doing last minute shopping.
last minute shopping? That's not the point. The point is I was told to come down as he would wait for me, and they closed at 9pm. When I arrived before 9pm and they closed, that's what pissed me off. The fact that I needed it at the last minute is irrelevant as it was still before the scheduled closing time.

I'll get it, but I'm going to Discount, and it'll be a few days before it comes in. I'm glad I got a car cover in the trunk.

-If you were smart, you would have called the part in.
-If there wasn't any business, why would they keep the store open another seven minutes for a potential walk-in.
-You could have waited one more day for a window part. It's not dire.
-It's no reason to boycott an entire chain.
It's management's "fault."
-:gives:
- I did and was told to come in.
- It's their job. If they don't like retail, they should try fast food.
- In FL with our weather, it is pretty dire.

- I didn't really mean boycott. Like I said, I needed a verb.
