Yeah 240s in stock form are really not that impressive. It's an okay car to putz around in but a GSR or Prelude would be more satisfying in that pursuit. When you tune the shit out of it with like big brakes, SR swap + big turbo, expensive suspension goodies, etc, the level of performance you can achieve is higher than your typical run-of-the-mill Honda but otherwise the cars are kinda meh.
Wow... so 155hp and 160ft/lbs @2700lbs isn't impressive? it's half the price for a used GSR or Prelude of the same year, handles pretty well, and the aftermarket support for it is just as if not more popular than the Honda's. My KYB's and ST springs ran me $450, went with Brembo drilled/slotted all around for $250, I had a GReddy exhaust i picked up for $200. Prices for parts are almost identical.... if you want to get crazy with special parts then it's pricey on both sides of the fence. BTW, the GReddy turbo kit for the KA is only $2900...$200 more than the GSR kit.... Sorry for going off topic with it, but I wouldn't pay more than $5k for it.
