a 5spd swap costs around 3500 more or less, depending on how lucky you are finding parts.

any used F series or H series auto tranny should be compatible, and also should cost less than 1500 installed. i'm guessing around 300-500 for the parts at the most. it would probably take around 5-8 hours of labor to install @ 70/hr so on the high end you're looking at 1100 bucks.

personally i think you could get it done for under a thousand esp if it's an F22 > F22 direct install.
