The baby-boomer generation are the people that have the most money right now. So it makes perfect business sense to market toward them. It will be awhile before the baby-boomer dies off. I would say at least another 30 years. By then, who knows what will happen. Unlike Buick, I think Toyota can still create exciting car if they wanted to. I mean, only recently did they kill off the Supra in Japan. I'm sure they're working on the replacement as we speak. They also have plenty of experience w/ many racing series like JGTC to take some design idea into production. I think once the gen x and y gets older and have more money, they'll begin to make cars that will appeal to us. In the mean time, there's no point for them to change if they're making so much money off the baby-boomer.
