yeah its vtec, stock it has about 190hp and about 15.1 second 1/4 miles but with a header and a CAI it should be around 210-215 (guess). if i were you i would definetily make that trade.
The first thing you should do is see if the owner has the original taillights or replace them with the stock ones. the biggest problem with 4th generation preludes is that they are too heavy.
dude, wtf are you talkin about, 4G's are too heavy?!! 5G ludes are heavier than the 4Gs! The weight of a 4G VTEC is around 2930 lbs, a 5G with ATTS is around 3050 and a 5G base is 2950.
