Ok. Go ahead and reduce the effectiveness of your brake lights so that next time an old lady with bad eyesight behind you can't decipher if your brake lights are on or just your normal lights and rams you. That'll look real good when an officer shows up, sees that your tail-lights are illegal, and the other driver's insurance faults you based off of his police report and refuses to pay your damages. You're then forced to file claims against your colllision, pay your deductible, not to mention incur any points or court costs due to the ticket as a result of said modification. You'll also probably end up being sued by the other driver for damages to her frail body. She will win. I'm just trying to look out for a member. Pardon me for the intrusion.
