b18c. I always looked at it this way. If he is serious about building a N/A motor most of the factory advantages of an R motor would be replaced with after market parts anyway. i.e. p+p head, pistons, cams, etc. Thus almost making the whole point of buying the R motor in the first place obsolete. Not to mention the displacement and torque advantage of a b18 over a b16.
