A new Celica would probably address most, if not all, of those concerns. In the Scion thread the Toyota/Scion rep stated that the tC would target a different buyer and would be a different car than the Celica. Thats good enough indication for me that they're not toally killing off the Celica. And from what I heard about Scion and the tC is that Scion will be a US brand only for now. Some of its cars will come from existing JDM Toyota models, but some (like the tC) will be all-new and unique, although they may be based off exisiting platforms. If this is true, then the Celica would still have a role in Toyota's line-up elsewhere in the world and would likely come to the US along with the tC.
