you don't lie to sell something, that's just dishonest. he wasn't bending words, either, he specifically said what i wrote (not in the exact words, mind you, but it was pretty damn clear). how would you feel if someone sold you a set of headlights for $700+ telling you you wouldn't have to do any bodywork to install them.. then when you got them you realized you had to spend another $700 to get bodywork and paint done in order to use them?
my point was he is right from his point of view. how would he know it will fit right on USDM cars? like i said in previous posts...he's from the UK. we dont share the same cars...and if we do...there are differences. put yourself in his shoes...u are selling stuff on eBay... you are not a business...you dont need to guarantee the products will fit...you dont need to take them back. it is an auction. the buyer KNOWS what he/she is bidding on.
as for your example on the headlights.... put it this way. lets say you have a 90-93 integra and you bought some JDM headlamps. they are guaranteed to fit your car. ...and they do. BUT...the headlamp bulbs do not carry over. you need H4h bulbs that are exclusive to the japanese market and are hard to find rather than the stock USDM 9006 bulb. who's fault is that?... the buyer...are you going to blame the store/guy who sold you the lights that they are wrong for selling you something that does FIT and BOLT in? NO. The product fits...just like it was advertised. you dont have the right bulbs..headlamps wont work without them. you didnt do enough research. buyers fault.
