I never said Bush had a good foreign policy, and you can't blame the loss of american jobs on bush. We know that economic cycles go up and down, and after the huge boost in the economy in the late 90's and early 00's, it was bound to drop.
This is from Democrats.org:
"In just one year, President Bush and congressional Republicans have managed to undo eight years of hard work and fiscal discipline. Bush's policies have already wiped out our hard gained surpluses, returned the nation to deficit spending, put Social Security in danger and slowed down efforts to pay down the national debt. One year into the Bush Administration, more than one million jobs were lost, the unemployment rate increased by 1.8 percent and about 2.6 million more people became unemployed. Now that the country is in a recession, President Bush and Republicans have proposed an economic plan that does little to stimulate the economy and consists mostly of giving profitable corporations and wealthy individuals $100 billion in tax cuts."
Oh come on, are you saying that it's normal for that kind of a drop in 1 year?!

Bush was put between a rock and a hard place with the Iraq situation. Little do people know what complete chaos Iraq was, and how its citizens were being treated. Thats one of the reasons we got rid of Sadam. But no, people bring up this no war for oil stuff and just make themselves look completely uneducated.
Bush is as dumb as a rock. Aside from his idiotic speechs that make no sense - I recommend a google search on "bushisms", the Iraq situation is a disaster. The number of United States soldiers who have died in Iraq since May 1, when President Bush declared the end of major combat there, has surpassed the number of American deaths in the first stage of the war, which began on March 19. We're the invader and they're fighting to get rid of us. Iraq is much worse than it was under Saddam. We might not like Saddam because he was an asshole, but we're not the world police. We had no reasons to get rid of Saddam other than the fact Bush needed a way out for not finding Osama Bin Laden. Who else than the person who "tried to kill his dad", as he put it? It's sad that Iraq citizens were mistreated, but now American citizens are getting the shaft while he declares war on the rest of the world in the name of Jesus, Oil, and the good ol' USA. Besides, every thing with the middle east is about oil. Since when has the US government given 2 shits about anyone that hasnt benefitted them?

there are other reasons than the current leader of this country to love it. yes 9/11 stirred up America's partiotism, but i dont see why thats a bad thing. i love america, i love what it stands for, and the freedom that it gives us, but i dont neccessarily support everything thats going on with it
As do I. But what I do hate are the people that try and stop you from disagreeing with America. You can't disagree or hate with Bush without being called Godless Unamerican or something. Thats crap. True patriots use their Constitutional rights for speech and assembly for the purpose which they were created - to make a difference.
I'm going to bed, gnight guys.
