Actually, I've just heard from a VERY reliable source that the MDX will keep it's current displacement but the horsepower will be boost by 20HP.

As far as the RL goes apparently there will only be some very little changes to the in/exterior.

BUT I've also heard that there will be some fairly major changes to the 1.7 EL (in/exterior and packages).
