There sure is a lot of flat, open space on the dash. Yeah the original design was kind of weird too but it at least managed to break up the monotony.

I see no reason to buy this when the Mazda 3 costs about the same, looks great, has a great interior, and is riding on the next generation of this platform. Oh well. The SVT was the only interesting Focus variant and now that Ford's killed it I see no redeeming value in the lineup.
