The last letter is the revision of the engine a b18c5 is a revision of a b18c,. Just like b16a2, is more advanced then the original a1, i believe j spec has 10 more hp and a hrydro tranny.This is pretty basic stuff in the land of honda's.Write it on your hand too learn it all!
This can be a true assessment when looking at USDM motors, but not JDM motors. The ITR and SiR-G (USDM GSR equiv but has more hp) are both stamped B18C.
