hondas engine codes usually are pretty simple say b18c5

the b represents the series of the engine , usually, b,d,h,k, are the common honda tuner's ones. The 18 after that represents the liters or displacement. 16= 1600 cc or 1.6 liters, 18=1800 cc or 1.8 liter and so on.The c represents represents the engine itself, and usually the higher the letter the more power, b16a,b16b,b18a,b18b,b18c, .The last letter is the revision of the engine a b18c5 is a revision of a b18c,. Just like b16a2, is more advanced then the original a1, i believe j spec has 10 more hp and a hrydro tranny. This is pretty basic stuff in the land of honda's.Write it on your hand too learn it all!
